Ingredients
Method of manufacture
- Mix all the ingredients in phase A together until uniform.
- Sprinkle in the Xanthan Gum, and mix until a uniform gel is formed.
- Adjust the pH between 4,5-5,5.
Formulation advice for water-based products
- Reconnecting Nature is not readily soluble in water, so it will sediment if no suspending agent is used. Good suspending agents that work well with the active are Xanthan Gum and Sclerotium Gum.
- Although the frame formulations have been made with 1% of Reconnecting Nature extract, up to 3% can be easily incorporated into such systems.
- The simplified liquid and gel formulations presented here can be modified to contain humectants, floral waters, other actives, different preservatives etc.
